Standard Disperser

The Onslow disperser is designed to disperse pigments in liquids across various batch sizes and is also suitable for general-purpose mixing. Its robust design and versatility ensure that, no matter your dispersion application, the Onslow disperser is the machine of choice for you. The Onslow 45 kW disperser is available with either a Variable Frequency Drive or a Mechanical Variable Speed Drive, suitable for both Class 1 Zone 1 and non-hazardous environments. We can supply standard accessories such as mixing vessels, telescopic lids, split lids, loading chutes, and dust extraction systems.

The High-Speed Cavitation Disperser

is equipped with an electronic drive system, featuring various kW drive motors coupled to an AC frequency inverter or Soft Starter. The disperser shaft is driven by the motor via a vee belt. The mixer shaft is fitted with a stainless steel rotor, complete with rotor bosses and a nut. For safety reasons, the drive pulleys and belts are fully enclosed.

The mixer head assembly is supported on a central column and elevated by a self-contained, motorized hydraulic pump unit, which includes the necessary control valve. The dispersers come with approved safety attachments, such as a shaft guard, an elevation cut-out and tub clamp, all fitted with standard or Ex’D’ rated limit switches.

All motors are configured for a 415-volt, 3-phase, 50-hertz AC electricity supply to meet Australian requirements, with other specifications available for export regions. The TEFC motor and frequency inverter are suitable for non-hazardous installations, or Ex’D’ for Class 1 Zone 1 environments. The unit is finished in durable polyurethane 2-part paint, available in ‘Onslow Green’ or a color of your choice.

An electrical control box, starters, pushbuttons, wiring, installation, and commissioning are available upon request but are not included as standard items with the disperser.

1.5 kW HIGH-SPEED CAVITATION DISPERSER (LAB TYPE)

Our High-Speed Cavitation disperser is available with either a mechanical variable pulley drive to the mixer shaft or an inverter variable speed drive. The drive is mounted on a bridge piece attached to the machine column and base assembly. Shaft speed is infinitely variable between approximately 760 and 7700 rpm. The mixer shaft is fitted with a 50 mm, 75 mm, or 100 mm diameter stainless steel rotor with a rotor boss and nut. The variable speed unit comes complete with a speed indicator, and the drive pulleys and belt are fully enclosed. The central column and disperser shaft are of sufficient length to accommodate containers up to 20 liters. The base is complete with a clamp suitable for locating containers from 1 liter to 20 liters in capacity. The drive motor is designed for increased safety in hazardous locations, meeting Ex’e’ Class 1, Zone 1 requirements or Ex’D’ for inverter types, and is suitable for any worldwide AC electricity supply. The unit is finished with quality polyurethane paint.

ONSLOW 75KW VACUUM SINGLE SHAFT DISPERSER

55/75 kW High Speed Disperser

Our free-standing single-column Disperser is engineered for optimal performance and durability. The drive head is fabricated from mild steel sections and is equipped with a powerful 75 kW Electric Drive Motor, compatible with a frequency inverter. The motor drives the Disperser Shaft via Vee Belts and Pulleys, ensuring efficient power transmission.

The Disperser shaft, crafted from stainless steel, is mounted in two heavy-duty bearings and features a 530 mm diameter stainless steel dispersion rotor, rotor bosses, and locknut. The shaft operates at variable speeds ranging from 0 to approximately 850 rpm, providing flexibility for various applications.

Head elevation is managed by a hydraulic cylinder housed within the vertical column, offering a total stroke of 1800 mm. A self-contained hydraulic power pack, mounted at the rear of the Disperser, facilitates smooth and reliable head elevation. All moving parts of the drive head are fully enclosed for safety and protection.

The column is equipped with a heavy-duty adjustable tub clamp, featuring a resilient webbing belt and electrical interlock for secure operation. Additionally, the Disperser includes a mechanical head elevation cutout switch, enhancing operational safety.
